A Family Mourns

Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to the family of Declan Sullivan who was tragically killed yesterday afternoon. There are plenty of questions that must be answered in the coming days and weeks as to who is responsible for what happened, but I strongly encourage everyone who calls themselves part of the Notre Dame Family to exercise restraint in casting blame until full knowledge of the facts are released.

This is not something that will slip through the cracks--when all details are sorted out proper action will be taken and judgment will be rendered. In the meantime, all attention should be directed toward mourning the loss and celebrating the life of Decan.
